Gold Metal

Gold dress (thrifted), bralette (Urban Outfitters), denim jacket (Guess via mom's hand-me-down), boots (Steve Madden via Marshall's), sunglasses (NYC vendor)

Seriously, thrift finds are so exciting! So on one thrifting adventure day with my sister, we were scrummaging through the dress rack to see who could find the most ridiculous dress. We came across this extra large, loose gold slip dress and at first, didn't know how to feel about it. Then we looked each other and (telepathically) knew it was actually an amazing find. It reminded me of Vanessa Hudgens and of course, she's one of my biggest fashion idols. I really like the gold specks because it gives it an edgy vibe so I paired it with embellished statement boots and some maroon color from a bralette I found at the Urban Outfitters sale section for $10.

Another successful thrifting adventure with the sister! Can't wait to see what else is hiding in the racks.

Happy hunting,
Mai Sunshine

Style tip: In order to avoid looking too heavy and bulky with the boots on the botton, tie a knot with the dress to shorten it from looking too much like a slip and to show off those statement boots
