Sunlight's Blooms

We breed happinesses from the tips of our wounds
Smile by the stitches of our broken eyes
Our teeth shine under the breath of our unused whispers
Can you wear yesterday's shadows trimmed by tomorrow's light?
Colors wither away with the shortened spursed air

A vignette thickens like shadows bleeding across an untouched page
What are these words if not white noise strung together by glass fragments?
Fragile as the chipped mirror perched on its arching point
We bloom under the heat of sunlight
But grow under the guise of moon's shine
If this is nature's calling for our soul's purpose
Will you pick up to the answers of your heart?
Or wilt in silence for another fading moment.
