Happy Valentine's Day Week!

At first, I hesitated to do another holiday series like my New Year's Eve one (click here if you haven't seen it already) but after much deliberation, and thanks to my friends who convinced me to, I've decided to do another series but this time for Valentine's Day! Whether you have plans or not, I tried to style a look for whatever you'll be doing that day--fancy date night, casual night out, bumming it indoors. And yes, I had to incorporate some sort of red in each outfit...call me cheesy or whatever but I'd like to think of it as being festive. I mean I don't wear much red anyways, so when there's an excuse to, why not?

The first look of the series is a simple black and white with red accents for a classy evening out. I know some of you ladies will be having a romantic dinner with your significant other at a fancy restaurant so I started out with a look for you lucky ducks. A nice bustier with a pleather circle skirt is the perfect amount of classy with a simple touch of edge. And because it's all black, it's appropriate for whichever restaurant you'll be attending. I threw on my favorite cream blazer that has hints of gold on it for a light balance to the all black ensemble. But of course, I couldn't make due without my heart suspender tights to add some lovin' for this Valentine's Day look :P

And yes, red lips and nails are always a good idea (even if they are chipped lol oops).

Look one of my Valentine's Day series...three more to go! How will you be spending your Friday night?

Much love,
Mai Sunshine

Style Tip: A bustier or corset type top paired with a circle skirt will give you a great shape without looking too sexy. It's the perfect combination for any classy look.
