Finding good girlfriends is like finding those emergency bobby pins at the bottom of your purse in desperate times of bad hair days--a relieving surprise appearing at just the right moment. Thankfully, I've found my trusty "bobby pins" during my crucial twenty-something years in desperate times of personal venture-hood.

I've made my post-grad, early twenty-something years as a meticulous mission of constant self-building and execution of my once-upon-a-time dreams. Along the way, I've met some interesting yet incredible people all living high on the pursuit of passion. But more valuably, I've found lifelong girlfriends all sharing an equal struggle, determination, and focus. My fashion endeavor wouldn't nearly be as exciting without the girls who get the same adrenaline rush and all heart-eyed about the delicacy of fabrics and intricacy of designs--a natural affinity for style and its visual presentation. This past NYFW made me appreciate these girls so much more because the experience wouldn't be the same without them to share it with--like this beauty featured in today's post who was completely excited when I asked her to be my plus one to some shows. Those are the people I want to surround myself with. Those are the girls I call home.

So here's a short and sweet shoutout post to the girlfriends who push me to work harder and inspire me further. Thank you for believing in me just as much as I believe in you.
