Happy Birthmonth to all the August babies, including me! I'm so excited for all the things I have planned for this month especially since I turn 21! Let's do it up big before the school year starts :)

Remember that time I mentioned how much I adored old train stations? This is definitely one of them. It's my neighboring town's train station and it is beautifully embellished in vibrant colors and creative mosaics. The best part about it? It was created by the local middle school students and it couldn't have been any cuter. I was so excited to shoot here just so I could blend in with the street art. I tried achieving a more urban, street vibe kind of look here. The top is actually from the men's section of H&M and it was only $5! Honestly, I love men's graphic tees a lot more because they're loose fitting and the graphics aren't girly or too colorful. I paired it with a denim circle skirt (which I embarrassingly failed to iron out, oops!) and light colored thigh highs to keep the light color palette. And I wore a peeking maroon bralette underneath to add more color.
Explore the men's section when you can because it's really easy for girls to rock them. Plus, they're usually cheaper than women's clothing.

Happy birthmonth,
Mai Sunshine

Style tip: Adding thigh highs to an outfit gives it a streetwear look, and it's easier to wear than tights. But try sticking to adaptable colors like tan or black so you can wear it with almost any outfit.
